5th Grade Parents/Slideshow
Pictures needed! We compile pictures of our current 5th graders from elementary school functions (Halloween parade, field trips, class parties, concerts) set to music. A copy is given to every student at the 5th grade promotion. Please send pictures in Jpeg format -please to Patty Rocker at procker@aacps.org. All pictures are needed by May 25th – the sooner the better! Pictures should be of “groups”, meaning 2-3 students in each shot at different school events (field trips, Halloween, concerts, Tiger Trot, etc.). If you have any questions, please call Patty Rocker (secretary) at the office at (410) 222-1075.

This is not your mom’s PTA. We don’t have bake sales. We do raise a lot of money and spend it here, but our mission is to improve the educational environment for every student and to make parental involvement the basis of our presence. How do we do it?  Through financial commitment, providing volunteers, providing family fun, and advocating on behalf of our school community.

The Mission of the PTA is:

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
