Tuesday, May 30th All-American SteakhouseFundraiser Spirit Night!    4:00-9:00 p.m. Dine-In or Carry-Out! All guests contribute- spread the word! No flyer is needed.

Friday, June 2nd: Rock the Purple for Relay for Life

Honors Chorus
Concert June 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Davidsonville Elementary.  We are also singing the National Anthem on Friday, June 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at South River High School parking lot for Relay for Life.  Wear your t-shirt and be there at 5:40 to warm up.  If you haven’t already, turn in your permission slip for the all-day rehearsal on June 5th.

Central is participating in Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society.   This year’s Relay for Life event will take place at South River High School starting on Friday, June 2 at 6 pm.  This is a great community event with games, musical performances, and food.  We would love to have Central families come out to support the team as we participate in this 12-hour walk.  Participating in Relay for Life is a great way for us to remember those we have lost and show our continued support for Central’s families and community members who are survivors.  If you would like to donate money to support our team financially, please use the following directions:

  1. Go to: relay.acsevents.org/
  2. Click “Donate” at the top left-hand corner
  3. Select your donation amount.
  4. You can direct your donation to Central’s team-Central Elementary School

At sundown, Luminaria bags will be lit in memory of or in honor of loved ones and friends who have, or have had, cancer.  The American Cancer Society suggests a $10 donation for each Luminaria bag.  If you would like to create a Luminaria in honor of a loved one, please email Mrs. Rivera (rjrivera@aacps.org) with your child’s name, teacher, and the number of bags you would like.  She will give the materials to your child.

In Case you missed it! Help Wanted
Lost and Found
Please to mark your coats/sweatshirts/lunch boxes with your child’s name.  We have a large number of items in our lost and found… including new spirit wear sweatshirts with no names on them! Have your child come look for missing items before they are donated.
The time is coming soon to celebrate our fifth grade students as they are promoted to middle school.  To celebrate in style we are asking fourth grade parents to help provide goodies for the fifth-graders to munch on after their ceremony.

What: You can bring small bottled waters, cookies, brownies, donuts, or prepackaged sweets.

Items should be dropped off at the office on Wednesday – June 7th or by 8:00 AM on Thursday – June 8th.
